My philosophy has always been that merely memorizing information is not enough to fully grasp a subject. One must fully comprehend the subject matter in order to respond correctly to questions designed to catch a student off-guard. As a tutor, I ensure my students fully understand the subject matter by encouraging students to apply the information they have learned to a variety of real-world situations. The most important way to ensure success in learning is to establish a solid foundation to build upon, especially in regards to Science courses. I have a deep love for the educational process, and I share this point of view with my students to inspire them and convince them of the importance of pursuing a higher education. I hold a bachelor's degree in chemistry earned at the University of Missouri, and I also hold another bachelor's degree in human biology from Logan University. Today, I am pursuing a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a master's degree in Sports Rehabilitation at Logan University. My specialties are Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition, Biology, Science, Cell Biology, AP Biology, and General Biology. Outside of academia, I like to play sports, and I am especially interested in weight training.
